1. Reservations.
All Court bookings are to be made on a first come first served basis, via the Club’s website www.cabreratennisclub.com, reservations are for 1 or 2 hour periods , commencing on the hour, no half hours or part hours are permitted. If not present within 10 minutes of your reservation time, others are free to use the court. When someone is waiting, the rule is players finish their hour, unless a mutually agreeable arrangement is made by all concerned.
If playing with a non-member who is required to pay, please ensure the correct amount is paid when booking the court online.
2. Day to Day Maintenance
Please ensure that there are no trip/ slip hazards on the court before play, a dustpan, brush and bin are provided for the removal of leaves and debris on and around the court.
Please brush the Court after use and leave it as you would wish to find it.
The correct footwear must be worn on the Court, for the safety of the player and to preserve the court surface.
3. Club Play
The intention of Club Play is that people of all levels to mix in. Therefore when there are more than 6 attendees:-
- The order of play from the beginning of the session should be in order of arrival, unless there are more than 4 at the commencement of the session, in which case, all rackets should be
- Once everyone has played once, all rackets should be placed in a random order on the ground and one person, without looking, should call out 4 random numbers to pick the next 4 to play, followed by the next 4 and so forth until all second time rounds are completed.
- When everyone has played for a second time, please then repeat step 2.
- When everyone has played for a third time, please repeat step 2 again and so forth.
All matches will play sudden death on deuce when there are other players waiting to play.
3. Club Play

- Any persons who have not yet played should then play next being joined by later arrivals in in the order of arrival.
- Once everyone has played once, all rackets should be placed in a random order on the ground and one person, without looking, should call out 4 random numbers to pick the next 4 to play, followed by the next 4 and so forth until all second time rounds are completed.
- When everyone has played for a second time, please then repeat step 2.
- When everyone has played for a third time, please repeat step 2 again and so forth.
All matches will play sudden death on deuce when there are other players waiting to play.
4. The Use of Club Balls
Please refrain from using the Club Balls against the hitting wall as:
- Tennis balls are not naturally designed to be hit against concrete walls and it is destroying them far quicker than under normal tennis conditions.
- They are not recoverable if they go over the top of the wall and into the locked garden.
You are of course more than welcome to use the old balls for this use, which are stored in the small bin at the side the court.
